William Holden Wildlife Foundation
"In the vast savanahs of Africa there is a dimension of space and time that is an echo of our own beginnings and which
reminds us that we were not born initially to live in the concrete jungle." William Holden Journey Through
Kenya

Stefanie established the William Holden Wildlife Foundation in memory of her long-time companion, Bill Holden. Though his
illustrious acting career included nearly 80 films plus the coveted Oscar for STALAG 17, the role in which he took the most
pride was as a conservationist and co-founder of the Mount Kenya Game Ranch. His dedicated efforts to preserve the wildlife
soon expanded through the world, as he instilled in everyone he touched a reverence for nature's creatures. The WHWF carries
on his effort to meet the ever-increasing demand for alternatives to extinction.
On November 1, 2003, Stefanie hosted the 20th Anniversary
benefit for the William Holden Wildlife Foundation at the International Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
These photos of Stefanie, the performers and the celebrity guests were taken at the post-concert reception by Suzie and Linda.
