STORY FORMAT:

Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers are Jonathan and Jennifer Hart -- an adventure-seeking husband and wife in the midst of a love affair -- with each other. Their story unfolds in HART TO HART, an action/adventure series that combines spirited humor, romance and suspense.

Mr. and Mrs. Hart have achieved success in their professional lives, Jonathan as the self-made head of conglomerate, and Jennifer as a free-lance journalist. The results of that success are exciting, colorful, and glamorous lives that take them around the world. But all of that serves merely as a backdrop for the most important thing in their lives -- their relationship. In short, Jonathan feels he's the luckiest man in the world and Jennifer feels that she's the luckiet womon - and they're both right.

Their friends come from all levels of society. At their regular Saturday night poker game, the table will likely consist of a baseball manager, a high-steel worker, a rock musician, a police lieutenant, and a member of the London Foreign Office.

Adventure is the fuel that feeds their romance. Their passion for danger and intrigue is fulfilled as they portray private detectives for the well-to-do, as well as the less fortunate, people that cross their lives. They frequently jet across the continents during their investigations to some of the world's most glamorous locations solving new mysteries that unfold before them. Whether it's breaking up the wedding of a Greek shipping heiress, or reuniting a lost boy with his mother, Jonathan and Jennifer keep rekindling their love affair in pursuit of exciting, often hazardous escapades. And through all the dangers and delights, they deepen their devotion to each other.
